Now is the time to volunteer your musical talents. Properly done, music augments the Mass – sharpening our focus during the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist. If you have had a desire to cantor, sing in the choir, or accompany on the piano or organ, now is the time to raise your voice. 2nd Collection – August 24-25

There will be a Second Collection for the Catholic Home Missions and Black and Native Americans on August 24-25.  The Catholic Home Missions assists dioceses in the United States that serve the pastoral needs of Hispanics and other ethnic groups.  It also enables Catholic parishes in poor and remote towns (in Alaska, for example) to provide the Sacraments and religious education for their people.  The collection for Black and Native Americans supports and strengthens evangelization programs throughout the United States.…
