November 8-9, there will be a Second Collection for the Archdiocese for the Military Services.  This unique Archdiocese is faced with many challenges, including a severe shortage of Catholic priest-chaplains, a flock spread out amongst the many military installations across the world, and constant transition.  The Archdiocese for the Military Services receives no funding from the US Military or the government, and relies on private donations to fund all pastoral programs and services. All donations are greatly appreciated.

Please consider donating new or gently used coats to the Knights of Columbus Owatonna Council 945 Coat Drive. They will be accepting coats for all ages beginning September 27 through October 19. Coats will be distributed by Community Pathways to Steele County residents who are in need. Please place your coats in the large box located in the Narthex. The final pick-up date will be Monday, October 20.

On October 4-5, there will be a Second Collection for the annual Baby Bottle Campaign sponsored by Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota.  All donations are used to provide rent or utility assistance for new and expectant mothers through the Catholic Charities’ Mother and Child Assistance Fund.  The money from this collection will assist women in so-called “crisis pregnancies” who choose life for their pre-born child.  You may give directly to Catholic Charities at www.ccsomn.org/donate and designate the gift to the…
