The Praying Family, an initiative of The Diocese of Winona-Rochester, is hosting a Family Holy Hour at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Owatonna from 4-5pm, on Sunday, December 3, 2023. There will be a dinner to follow. This event is free and is open to all demographics – single, married, and with or without children. We will also be selling The Praying Family Adoration Starter Packs to kick off Advent, which are $10 per pack.

There will be a second collection on November 18-19 for the Campaign for Human Development. Funds raised will help addresses the root causes of poverty in America through promotion and support of community-controlled, self-help organizations and transformative education. Sacred Heart is participating in the Toys for Tots program again this year.  Your generous donations the last few years have made a great difference for so many families.  There is a box in the narthex for you to donate new, unwrapped toys. Toys will be collected through December 14th. If you would like to apply to receive toys from the Toys for Tots program, there are applications in the Narthex in a slot on the bulletin board. Application deadline is Wednesday, November…
