Silver Rose Prayer Service

On Tuesday, May 13, at 7:00 p.m., in Sacred Heart Church, everyone is invited to attend the Knights of Columbus Silver Rose Prayer Service. The Knights of Columbus have eight silver roses that travel along different North American routes, eventually making their way to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City for the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12.  It is a happy act of Divine Providence that one of the silver roses will be in Owatonna during the month of May and on the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima.  This Silver Rose Prayer Service – which will be in English and Spanish, and includes Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament; the Liturgy of the Word; the Rosary; the Litany of Our Lady of Loreto; and an Act of Consecration to Mary – fosters devotion to Our Blessed Mother, especially under the title of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Empress of the Americas.
