The Prayer Shawl Ministry is alive and well at Sacred Heart Church, but we could use some more crafters. If you like to crochet or knit, please consider making a shawl for someone who is sick or lonely, or just needs comfort, hope, or peace. Interested? Come join us. We have lots of yarn in our closet that you can choose from and combine the colors and patterns however you’d like. We meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 1:00 pm in the Parish Center for 1 hour or however long you want to stay. Can’t make it on time? That doesn’t matter, come whenever you can. A completed shawl should be no less than 20 in. wide, and it should be 57 – 60 in length. You’ll be working on these shawls mostly at home, but it’s fun to get together and see what each other is making. Come and try it out on January 15th at 1:00 pm.
