OCIA Meeting

Anyone who is interested in OCIA – the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (formerly called RCIA), please join us on Thursday, September 24, at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Center. OCIA is the process of educating and welcoming Christians and non-baptized adults into full communion with the Catholic Church.  I extend a warm welcome to anyone from Sacred Heart, St. Joseph, and Christ the King Parishes who is thinking about becoming Catholic.  When the disciples of St. John the Baptist came to Jesus for the first time they asked Our Lord, “Where do you pitch your tent?”  And Jesus responded, “Come and see!”  Two thousand years later, Our Lord is still inviting us to “come and see” where he “dwells among us” in the tabernacles of His Catholic Church.
