Have you ever crocheted or knitted? Do you like visiting with other fun people? You are welcome to come to our gathering on Wednesday, November 20 at 1 p.m. in the parish center. We will be making Prayer Shawls. We work on them at our meeting and then take them home to work on them at whatever speed you like, and then we get together again on the third Wednesday of each month to show each other how it looks. Bring your hook or needles, we have plenty of donated yarn to put together in whatever style and color you like. A prayer shawl is 16 inches X 20 inches or somewhat close to that and can be done in any stitch or combination of colors you like. As you work on the shawl, you pray for the person who will get the shawl you make, they will usually be sick or sad or needing a lift, knowing somewhat has thought about them. This is a meaningful and worthwhile ministry. We hope you come (we don’t have many members and there’s always someone who could use your gift of time and talent)! You can just show up or call JoAnn Eichten, 507-451-6499, with questions.
