There will be a Second Collection for the Catholic Home Missions and Black and Native Americans on August 24-25.  The Catholic Home Missions assists dioceses in the United States that serve the pastoral needs of Hispanics and other ethnic groups.  It also enables Catholic parishes in poor and remote towns (in Alaska, for example) to provide the Sacraments and religious education for their people.  The collection for Black and Native Americans supports and strengthens evangelization programs throughout the United States. Unless otherwise indicated, your gift will be divided evenly between the Catholic Home Missions and the Black and Native Americans. Thank you for your generosity.
